The Kasilof River, which drains Tustumena Lake, is one of the largest lakes on the Kenai Peninsula. Beach access to the Kasilof small-boat harbor and Kasilof River make this quiet community a favorite for visitors and Alaskans. Salmon/halibut fish, beach comb, clam dig, watch commercial fishing, hike and you may see a dog sled team summer training.

  Alaska lodging and Bed and Breakfast on the Kasilof River in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula.  The River View House has two bedrooms, one bath, full kitchen, laundry and BBQ deck overlooking the Kasilof River.  The Gallery Lodge has two suites with a king bed that can convert into two twins, a day bed with a pull out bed, small fridge, microwave and bathroom with shower.  There are two bedrooms that have a queen bed, small fridge, microwave, sink with a shared bathroom.  All rooms have access to a full kitchen, laundry room, back deck and BBQ that overlooks the Kasilof River.  Ethernet and free wireless internet. Meetings, retreats, weddings, workshops, art studio workshops.  We can seat 40 for private dinners.

  On the Kasilof River. Fish for salmon from right in front of your cabin or there is a boat launch half mile up stream. Or just sit on the porch and watch the river go by. Full kitchen. Sleep 4 people up stairs with one queen and two singles (that can make a king). In a pinch there is also a queen size air bed that can be used downstairs. It is very comfortable and standard height off floor. There is a nice café and grocery store within walking distance. Also gas station and post office. Kenai or Soldotna 20- 30 minutes away.
